Emily & Michael's Winter Wedding

Emily and Michael got married on December 21st at the beautiful Boettcher Mansion in Golden, Colorado. The couple, both in school to become rabbis came all the way from California to say I do! The bride wore a beautiful A-line lace gown with a floor length veil as her something borrowed from her best friends wedding. The bride carried a bouquet of paper flowers that were made from the pages of a Hebrew prayer book. The groom wore his army dress blues. Emily and Michael were wed under a special chuppa made of burlap that was created by Emily’s mother Sheila. The couple was married by Michael’s childhood rabbi making their ceremony very special and full of love. As the couple walked out of  the doors after they were announced as husband and wife there was a light falling of snow making their moment a picture of perfection. After their ceremony the couple enjoyed their cocktail hour and mingled with their guests. After the couple was announced into their reception as Mr. & Mrs. Cohen and had their first dance to a song played by the couple’s friends. The rabbi gave a Chanukah blessing over bread and wine because the wedding day was also the fifth night of Chanukah The couple and their guests enjoyed a barbeque style meal catered by Three Tomatoes. Because of the groom’s service in the military, the couple cut the cake with a sword as they do in military tradition.  The reception space was covered in candles and mason jars decorated by the bride and her family. Keeping in the Chunukah tradition the couple served special fill your own Chunukah doughnuts that accompanied their wedding cake. The couple left the venue a bit earlier than most of our weddings to continue the celebration in downtown Golden. The wedding was so unique and full of love. The Mason Jar Trend

As we finish out the end of the year, it’s time for us to begin looking back at emerging trends that 2014 has brought us. On pinterest, tumblr, facebook, and even in our cupboards, we are seeing millions of mason jars. Each decorated in clever ways; spray painted, bejeweled, wrapped, filled with sand, candles, and anything else you could possibly think of.  Originally used for food packaging and candles, mason jars have started to infiltrate the wedding scene, bringing with it rustic centerpieces, modern party favors, creative drink holders, and many more. Here are a few awesome uses of the mason jar we’ve seen!





These beautiful mason jars were the key centerpieces at our last wedding in the Boettcher mansion. Using a variety of burlap, pastel colored ribbon, and gold glitter, our beautiful bride livened up these glass jars, transforming them into an iconic representation of her marriage: simple, classic, and something to be remembered.

Mason jars are a terrific container for wedding favors, or take home gifts for the guest. As you can see, this smores idea was ingenious, and perfectly matched the cozy theme of the wedding, leaving guests with something to take home to remember their night, and the note of love from the bride and groom is a simple keepsake.

Jeff and Meredith's Boulder I Do's

This Boulder couple picked their favorite spot in town to get married! They said "I do" in front of their closets friends and family at the top of Flagstaff Mountain at the Flagstaff Amphitheater. The couple treated their guest to a special aspen tree planting ceremony. Soil was taken from both of their parents garden and the newly weds planted their very own aspen tree to symbolize their blooming love. The party moved to downtown Boulder's Rembrant Yard for cocktail hour and wedding reception. The tables were decorated with gray table clothes and yellow napkins to pull together the theme. Each guest received a bag of seeds to plant in their own gardens. An amazing dinner were served by Greens Point Catering. The dessert bar was beautiful and really ended the night with a bang. Gaby & Corey Broadmoor Wedding

 Gaby and Corey were married at the gorgeous Broadmoor Hotel in Colorado Springs this September. The happy couple had a traditional outdoor ceremony on the West Lawn that was covered in large white arrangements by He Loves Me Flowers. The bridesmaids wore bright yellow dresses and the bride wore a beautiful gown with a lace and crystal veil. after the couple said I do, their guests were escorted to their cocktail hour by an authentic mariachi band. The cocktail hour moved from the front terrace into the ballroom for dinner. Dinner was served to their guests in five amazing courses created by the amazing Broadmoor catering staff. The party carried on late into the night with dancing and fun in the photo booth by The Light Booth. Here are some photos from this amazing wedding:

Briana & Josh's Aspen Wedding

At the very top of Aspens gorgeous mountain view Briana and Josh tied the knot. The guests had the pleasure of taking the Aspen gondola from the bottom to the top of the mountain. The guests then proceeded to the ceremony space. The bridesmaids wore coral dresses and the bride wore an all lace dress with a coral sash. The bride really made a statement wearing her favorite pair of cowboy boots. The groom wore bright coral tennis shoes to tie together the theme. The couple carried out a biblical foot washing ceremony where eat person washed the other persons feet. The couple said "i do"just in time for the perfect sunset. The wedding party moved inside for dinner which was a three course plated meal prepared by The Little Nell complete with lobster and filet minion. The couple danced the night away to music from A Music Plus. Here are some photos from their beautiful day:
