The 2015 Pantone Color of the Year

The 2015 wedding color of the year is MARSALA. This deep wine red will be a color you will see popping up all over the place this year. Here at Seize The Day Event Planners, we want to give you a couple ideas of how to use this years color in your own wedding. Here are some pops of marsala that we are loving this season.

Pops of Color for the Bride

The bride doesn't have to be limited to just white and something blue. Bring out your perfect pop of color in the little details of the brides outfit. A sash is a perfect way to highlight the brides waist and figure, making that sash marsala can add an unexpected touch to a somewhat expected outfit.
Wow your guests with a dark marsala lips or nail to give an edge to your wedding day look. Every girl loves shoes, especially a bride. Throw in a touch of wine (another thing every girl loves) to peep out under the brides white dress.

The Bridesmaids

Not only is marsala being seen all over the red carpet, but this pop of color is perfect for a bridesmaids dress! This color looks perfect on every skin tone and hair color and will make your maids and matrons very happy. Always a bridesmaid? At least you've never worn a marsala dress before!

The Groom

Tired of the same ol' black and white tux? Dare to be different and dress your man in marsala.

The Bouquet

There are so many beautiful blooms that natural come in a marsala color. Throw some of these flowers into the brides or bridesmaids bouquets.

On the Table

The table is the way to showcase a wedding color! There are so many options from table cloths, menus, place cards, table numbers, centerpieces, chargers, and the list goes on and on. How amazing is that silverware? Use your imagination )and your wedding planner) to bring creative pops of marsala onto your table.

The Cake and Desserts

Cake and desserts leave your guests with a sweet taste in their mouth. Why not make it even sweeter with a pop of color. This marsala red can be seen in cake flowers, frosting, or even these amazing macaroons.

How will you use marsala in your wedding or event this year? Tell us all about it!

  2. Our planner was such a pleasure to work with for our wedding. She was calm, organized, and kept everything running smoothly throughout the entire day. I felt calmer knowing the event planner was there!
